Selecting Notifications

 

The EXCELSIOR notifications you want to receive must be selected for each specific study in the Account > Notifications tab. When a study is selected, the available notifications for that study type will be loaded in the Subscriptions section. The default is no notifications enabled, except for the in-app notification for Upload Completed.

 

Users must select individual notifications in the list by clicking a checkbox for the item.

If the in-app checkbox is selected, the notification will only display in the EXCELSIOR website when you are logged in (bell icon in top right):


 

If the email checkbox is selected, both in-app and email notifications will be enabled. The user cannot select to receive only email notifications. Users can update their subscriptions at any time.

 

1. Navigate to Account > Notifications.
 

2. Click on the study name to bring up the available notifications for the study under "Subscriptions".

3. Select each individual notification that you wish to receive.
 - Check the item under the In-app column (bell icon) to activate in-app notifications only for the item.

 - Check the item under the email column (letter icon) to activate both in-app and email notifications for the item.

 - Selections can be changed by re-clicking the icon to remove the notification selection.

4. Selections will be automatically saved (there is no save button to select).
